we've come to send a message
bring back a voice that was torn
we call ourselves the society
with words we are reborn

so often the young are silenced
simply because of our age
we are the new generation
releasing a voice that's been caged

we call ourselves poets
because our message has dept
we're lead by Mouse and Magmus
two poets who have wept

but one of them in particular
that by the name Mouse
he has fueled our message
experienced with a shut mouth

there was a point in his past
where he did not speak out
this decision he would regret
would become the poet's bout

we speak for those who've been silenced
just kicked aside on this rock
for those who fear speaking out
and those who get lip locked

so come the year 2011
be sure to prepare for hell
because this is truly a story
which only time can tell

but until that day
sit back and enjoy the wait
we are the voice of the future
and the world is our bait

and just keep in mind
the worst has yet to come
we alone are the poets
bullets from silenced gun
